Tis There Knarr to be Shredded???

This is a sad email to all my readers.... I am getting transferred. Honestly I am so sad. I did get what I asked for but idk if I should be happy or sad or mad or what yet. I feel at 6 weeks you just get to know everyone and we have 4 people I could have been a part of their baptisms and probably more. Sidney is such a hidden gem and my comps who do things the enjoyable way. But I am really excited for my next area and comps so don't let that fool you. It will be a really good learning experience. I am going to make you all wait until my next email to find out who I am with and where I am. I will say it is about the same size as Sidney though.

This week was really good. We are allowed to have Facebook which lets be honest, it's useless. So me and my comps all just deleted it for good cuz it takes a special person to be successful on Facebook and we aren't that person. But man we have been finding so much success and blessings on blessings. This week we found 4 news. This means we taught them a lesson, they committed to something and have a follow up appointment. It is extremely hard to get people to join this church with the amount of sacrifices you have to make. So any 1 person is a miracle but I'm happy to have 4 to try and get there. One guy's name is Zack. He is so elect. I am feeling really confident at this point just saying what up and talking to everyone but I love just out of the blue randomly hitting people up with the "Do you wanna learn about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ" with no context to annoy my comps which usually does nothing but man this p day we were at subway and this guy was making us sandwiches. I asked him while he was making them and we caught him outside on break and he told us he got our card on his door but there was no number but he would love to talk. That night we were at the church vacuuming the gym in synchronization because that's just what missionaries do and my comp felt like he should go call him and he was all like yo I just got off work, come over to my apartment. We didn't really want to go, not gonna lie, just getting good in the stride of the vrooming but we switched to pros clothes and went over. This humbled me knowing not to judge a book by the cover. He was very well spoken and a smart guy. We taught him lesson one which he had a lot of insight with and I know for a fact he will read the BOM fast and he already said he will come to church. I think this will have a very promising outcome. It's crazy how even on a p day God will place people in your place ready for the gospel. After that we decided to go past curfew cause we were already past 9 and got ice cream. All the workers were talking to us and we got the whole staff interested. It was a pretty sweet night.

I also had my first exchanges this week. Mannnn that was the longest day of my mission. I went down to Dickinson with the DLs. I fell like we did absolutely nothing. They would schedule contacting time and sit there for a half an hour and call 1 person. Like come on lets goooo. We sat at the library for TWO yours uhhh. It was awful. And these guys are the DL's. Man did it sure make me appreciate my companionship and also makes me scared of transfers but I know we are going to work really hard. Today is district p day which is what it is, you know me just destroying volleyball because my mom taught me when I was 3 years old. Anyways next time I will be in a different state in supposedly the choice land on the mission. Remember Jesus Christ gave the ultimate sacrifice for us. He was beaten, spit on and suffered unimaginable things and in return asked us such simple commandments and principles to follow. If we don't love our Father in Heaven and Savior Jesus Christ with all our might mind and strength what are we doing.... Think about that. Anyways I hope ya'll have an amazing week and as always thanks for reading my smooth cheeked gazelles.

Till we meet again - Elder Parker

Side note - It is snowing so much right now it is epic.

My winter wonderland pow-
