I Know You'd Love Me Like a Fat Kid Loves Food

I am torched ladies and gents. This week got me feeling like Kanye West's rap career........ haha. I am loving Fargo! They treat me like a king here in the nicest living I'll have until I'm at least 40. I feel like I'm at a Florida resort but better sometimes haha. Also got a brand new Nissan Rogue. Its got track mode which lowers the suspension and paddle shifters to ensure we are always on time. Anyways, I am District Leader here over 10 missionaries which is super sweet. My district is a tracting district which is perfect for me because that is what I am really good at and they are so hype and pull insane numbers. "Huge change." Anyways since I've gotten here my confidence has sky rocketed! Since I'm in the biggest city in the mission with a grand 100,000 or so people there are a lot of people to talk to. When I came into the area we basically white washed it. The companion that was here is going home early on Wednesday and it's just gonna be us two. But with really no starting ground we used the last four days of the beginning of the transfer and hit the ground running with a new 7 people to teach which is decent and a good start! Also there are black people here! I say that because they seem to be super receptive. I have been talking to everyone everywhere. I've learned how to make it casual and normal and its been a blast! My comps are not as courageous and say things like "I swear if you crash another family reunion Imma lose it" haha but it has been paying off and like I said my confidence has sky rocketed. I don't have alot of time but I will share a funny story about this guy named Jojo. We where driving by and I told my companion to drive by the fronts of the stores. Boom there was a black person and an Asian in the Subway working so I got out and they where closed so I banged on the door to talk to them. They let me in as my comps sat in the car and this guy Jojo just starts reciting like the whole Bible page by page and saying things like "I love Christians... I am Nazareth and love God". Ten minutes later he stops and goes "I got all of exodus 20 memorized too" hahaha we will be meeting with him again on Wednesday! Anyways the zone here is awesome! And the people are great. The ward seems cool too but needs to get broken in, the last missionaries left not the best impression haha. Also the weather here has been amazing. Over all I think this is gonna be a really good transfer I have already grown so so much and look forward to the success to come! Keep the faith cause its true. if it wasn't I wouldn't be here.

The Rain is Falling.........

I am getting mildly tickled at the moment by my ZLs so I have no idea how this email is going to turn out but ay, thanks for your attention! ๐Ÿ˜‚ This week we were super busy and it was filled with success and good times to finish out the transfer! On Wednesday we were able to go down to Rapid and sand beds with electrical sanders with the whole zone. It was all fun and games until your boy went wax on.... wax off on them when all of the sudden a piece of metal flew out and hit me straight in the eye. Luckily I was wearing safety glasses and they deflected it like nothing. I mean it was nothing really, no problem. Anyways the next day we did exchanges with the ZLs which was a successful and fun time as always. We also had baptismal interviews that day which went great! Then on Saturday Dre'Elle Giroux got baptized! This is Scott's niece. Scott received the priesthood a couple of nights beforehand and was super nervous but performed the ordinance correctly the first time! Better than when I baptized John haha. This was a super cool thing to see happen and a really special baptismal service. Then right after that at around 1, we went to Mike's place for some service. The plan was to walk his property and fix all his barbwire fencing. Well, we set out on this adventure through the black hills with the caveman Mike himself with some tools and barbwire. Man, it was beautiful and sunny out as we start on the first side. We fix some broken fences and continue. About a half-hour in we are in the middle of nowhere and of course, we are in SD so it starts snowing, We were going straight up and straight down hills just covered in trees and brush following this fence in the rain and snow for 4 hours hahaha. There was a couple of times I thought we might die but it was the sickest thing as well. There will be some clips in the next video. After we let the horses go free and they lost their absolute minds and almost kicked us all before running off into the woods. It was a very polar opposite day!

Alright so now for the juice! Monday night we got transfer calls and it looks like my time here in Belle Fourche is up! I had a good run here but now I am off to the northern city of Fargo, ND. This will be a big change! I'll be back in a trio which I am excited about because trio energy is unmatched in the mission. I will be in the Fargo 3rd ward. Crazy right? 3 whole wards wow that blows my mind. Fargo is the biggest city on the mission so I am ready to tear the streets up there like no other! Anyways there are I think 7 sets in Fargo so that will be very different having lots of other missionaries around. So I got that Monday night hurried and packed and early next morning which is this morning we came to RC and went on a hike to the highest point of SD... I mean it's whatever pshh no biggie. And now I will be staying the night here and leaving early tomorrow morning for a long travel day!

Also, I have been reading Jesus the Christ. Wow, it is amazing! But sometimes I get frustrated on how much more I have to read and learn just within the standard works alongside so much given to us by prophets and apostles with the time left on my mission but then I think about how far I have come as well. This makes it sound like my parents never taught me anything but that is not true I just probably never listened. I remember sitting in the MTC reading through PMG and lesson two (Plan of Salvation) for the first time just mind blown haha I didn't know anything or when I found out the Bible was split between the old testament and new testimony and what that means or even what in the world D&C is hahaha. I definitely think that is a reason I have been here in the states for so long on my mission because knowing myself I would have been so wrapped up in the language no way would I have found the knowledge and testimony I have today and have the determination to continue to learn.

ใƒฌใƒƒใƒ„ใ‚ขใ‚ดใƒผ!!!!!‼️

.... Cold.....Dark......TUNNEL! We are seated around a paper mache table that oddly looks like a sheep! There has been 46 chairs fitted for each of you to do head stands on as I inspire you! (I hope you all have a good image in your head right about how this is going down.) To start off this last week we will began on Tuesday. Tuesday we had MLC which was a good time but weird having a different ZL haha the dynamic has completely changed for the zone... let's hope in a good way๐Ÿ˜‚! Later that night we had my last dinner with the college students ๐Ÿ˜ญ. We went out to eat and the waiter asked what the occasion was for, as we were in white shirts and ties. They gave no hesy (hesitation) to say "we are here to baptize you"! He said he was down so we just hit him with the interview bang on the spot and he failed☠. Anyways, after we went and got cheese cake and said till the sand meets the summer tide if you know what I'm saying! Then on Wednseday I went up to Faith, SD on exchanges with Elder Bailey who is in my district. Haha he's a funny guy but the exchange was needed as some of the things he believed which explains the terrible results of their work there haha. Things are really picking up there now though so it is cool to see my methods helping them a ton! Now let me tell you the reservations are a fun but scary place. We where walking down the street fighting off res dogs with our sick karate skills as normal... but then, we see some guy working in his back yard. We went over to talk to him and turns out he is a pastor for a non denominational church in Cherry Creek, SD. We talked for a bit and I was trying to see how Elder Bailey would handle the preacher but then all of the sudden the preacher dude makes a move on us and puts his hand on our chests and start blessing us๐Ÿ˜‚. I mean what do you do? So we let him do that and then his kids sang to us to "lift the devils within us".... it was a good time! Then on Thursday we were able to absolutely DESTROY ๐Ÿ’ฏ  in Magic haha. Someone we are teaching loves to play with us and they have been coming to church as well! Anyways, I played this deck with a bunch of dragons and my comp that has never played before somehow won with a bunch of frogs.๐Ÿ˜ถ Then on Saturday, oh man this was a tuff day, haha. I remember back home being like ohhhh man I have to do this one thing in the morning on Saturday ohhhh I'm gonna die. It makes me grateful for time haha.๐Ÿ˜„We were moving from 9 to 2 then scrubbing floors from 2 to 5 then picking up bullet casings for the rest of it. Not the best day of fulfilling our purpose as missionaries but we actually only do service maybe once a week so it was nice! Well in-between all of that we had great finding opportunities and lots of good lessons! We have some baptisms coming up and got 4 of our investigators to come to church with us as well. Thank you for your time. It means a lot! (We all display many tears as we are filled with much joy as we flop off the chairs from the head stand position and walk out of the cold.....dark.....TUNNEL}!

I will finish The Book of Mormon tomorrow in personal study all reading and taking notes, no audio and zoning out hahah.๐Ÿฅณ
