I'll Take a Potato chip...AND EAT IT!

Hahahaha..... This week was crazzzy. I had this brilliant 200 iq idea that came to me in a dream. Imagine you are a young person if you aren't. Sorry to just objectify most of you as being old but go back to your college days. (: you're walking down the street or maybe someone just knocks on your door. Oh also you are not a member. You open your door or turn your head to see two people in white shirts when one of them says, "Hey want an egg?" Boooom what do you say. Pshh of course you want an egg. You're a broke spontaneous college student so you say yes out of confusion. They hand you an egg and then throw some religious question at you out of nowhere. You are hit with confusion again and since you answered yes last time you were in this situation you say yes again. So they start spitting bars (translation/preaching the word) on you and you begin to be overcome with the spirit. Next thing you know you are fully submerged making covenants. Genius right.

This week we found a good amount of people to teach and were able to teach a bunch of lessons. There is so much I wish I could tell you all but it would take ages to write haha so I'll focus on the important things. Yesterday was probably the most stressful but best Sunday I have ever had. John, who will be getting baptized this Saturday needed to come in order to be baptized but said he was really tired. We showed up at 9 banging on his door and HE WOKE UP so I was so excited. He let us in and I'm just kind of like sweet didn't think we would get this far haha. We set up a ride right there and stayed and talked with him as the anime called, "piano forest" was playing in the background until they got there. We barely made it to church on time and Scott, who is getting baptized Saturday as long as interviews this week go well, was in there already with his niece as well as 5 other people we are teaching. I was like a slippery snake with 5 feet. After the sacrament meeting I was trying to help everyone with introductions and where they need to go and meeting the bishop and what not but it was a 1 on 7 because my companion got dragged into a 15 min conversation with an older guy in the ward haha. One of them got bitten by a spider too so he wanted to stay for the second hour but needed to run home and get some anti ich stuff. Luckily the 4 college students stepped up and helped a lot with giving rides and showing people where to go. Please keep John and Scott in your prayers. We also got to teach Landon and Nullen, who are Elizabeth's (sister Denton's) kids after church and are going to start talking about baptism with them as well. They have already told us they want to be, but need the testimony first. Also, their father is looking like he will give permission for them to be baptized so keep that in your prayers as well! Still trying to get some people married so they can be baptized too but that is a work in progress. Today we did District P day. Knowing the crowd I figured the best thing would be to just play games with them. I bought the game Chameleon and some others brought a couple. Just finished up and that was a great break for everyone to share some laughs. Also your boy just bought his first Cologne😂😂. Now that summer is getting closer and closer I figured that was a good decision!

Anyways thanks for reading everyone. I am doing fantastic out here and growing everyday. Even if for some reason I had to go home right now I would be more than happy and grateful for the things I have been able to be a part of and experience, despite especially this week the getting yelled and cussed at, rejected and laughed at. Also, I am in Helaman now and the Nephites for the 50th time I swear have lifted up their hearts in pride and forgotten their God so they are getting slapped by the Lamanites but it looks like some legit stuff is about to go down with dark clouds and fire cause everyone is wicked with a voice that tells them to repent. The Book of Mormon is great and if you have not seriously ever sat down and read the whole thing do so. You've got one of God's greatest powers sitting there in a book and you cannot tell me you can't make it a priority to take a small amount of your time in a day to read what the creator of all things who organized us from the beginning has given us. SO READ! lol

Hasta la próxima vez、きれい羊、またね - Elder Parker
