50 shades of Gray Might Not Have Been as Poorly Written as You Thought.

What's good, Email gang. This week has been wild and the only way I can think to describe it is that I feel like a cocaine addict, who most of the time is in a frat. It's been wild but so much fun. I arrived here the first day and 2 missionaries were waiting for me. I think they were the AP's but I have no clue. Anyways, they gave me a fat hug in the airport and I was like sweet so we can hug each other. We went down to grab my bag and they start talking to this girl in the airport and she agreed to talk for 10 min. Fast forward a bit and the guy is basically going down lesson one and looks at me and gives me that nudge and look like alright your turn. At first I was thinking wait I'm not ready for this then, I thought sometimes you just gotta lick the stamp and send it, you know. So I did and she agreed to download the BOM app and we got her contact info so that was fun. Then all the rest of the missionaries pulled up. Fast forward.. we had a solid 40 missionaries in the basement of the mission president house going ham on the ping pong table. Spent a lot of time with Elder Kroff and some others who are super dope. That night they sent like 18 people to a missionaries apartment but we snuck down to a senior apartment, that was definitely the play. The next day I got my assignment and drove out. I am in a tiny town called Sidney Montana, it's pretty sweet. I thought Georgia swung politically right but this place takes it to another level, and I've never felt more country in my life. The sunsets, sunrises, and stars here I would put next to Arizona's if not better. I am in a triple with my boy Elder Big mac, and Elder Thunder thighs. We drove down this hour long hilly dirt road to get there and the little TIWI device in the car had no clue what was going on when it comes to the speed limit so, we definitely caught some air, at the same time as getting I think 5 aggressive driving warnings but they didn't seem to care ha. Anyways the first night we went proselytizing at a tackle shop. This place is sick, I walk in and the dude inside has a machete on his belt and there's just chainsaws laying on the ground, not to mention its like 10 feet by 10 feet, so that gave me a wake up call on the fact that I am not in a government run place anymore. Everyone here only talks about fishing, hunting, guns, and an occasional car conversation. We tract on reservations, and its wild. There are pacts of k9's and pit pulls in numbers of 30's, but they never harm us. I swear they smell the spirit on us or something. Also we were tracking the other night and this dude named Ashton was throwing a pre party and invited us in. It was wild. We tried to share a message but all he could say was things like, "you mean when I smoke weed I can feel the spirit", and was going in crazy rants. I wish I could have wrote the things he was saying about Egyptians and how God could be a alien. Anyways he invited us to his party the next day and told us he would have an unspiked punch but we didn't go. Ha. But we have a couple close to baptism, and a lot more we are teaching. I had a crazy awesome experience with this guy named big Mike. He has a crazy back story and was in jail for armed robbery at a bank and broke out of prison with rockets and stuff but he knows his Bible like no other and he knows more about Joseph Smith then I do, so we had a awesome member come, and he basically but him in his place with insane deep doctrine that would shake a lot of peoples faith and he ended up coming to church yesterday, but to us he is the nicest guy and he loves God and Jesus Christ. Idk if he will every really break that point to making his first covenant of baptism but who knows. Anyways we have a lot of people we are teaching but a lot of times they are a solid hour away which makes for a lot of time driving but my trainer is pretty chill with music. So with what we can listen to we have a good time. There are so many more wild things that have happened this week but I can't even explain them. I am yet to see 1 mask after getting off that plane and even at church! It has felt really nice to feel completely normal again. Like none of that crap exists here. Anyways I'm still getting dragged around just getting used to things. I have only had wifi 2 times and man does it feel good to say, I am out here serving a normal mission, we tract, we proselyte, we drive, we teach, and we serve, there is no covid restrictions or nothin. Its so epic and I am so happy to be here and not stuck inside on Facebook like I know other missions had and may still be. It has been nice to see so many people in person and not once over a video call haha. Anyways we get fed here pretty good at members' homes I would say 4-5 out of 7 times a week and the food has slapped every time. Anyways We are on the road now to go fishing for pike and walleye so wish us luck in the cold. I have already been told with wind chill it gets to -70 idk if that's accurate but... anyways remember (3 Nephi 21:1) "For behold, the day cometh that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble; and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord  of Hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch." You don't want to be stubble do you? Haha stay faithful to my legion of buets.
